AFP (25/10) -- Hong Kong stocks closed 0.6 percent lower on Friday
despite a positive lead from Wall Street, as profit-taking dragged the
market lower.The benchmark Hang Seng Index dipped 137.48 points to 22,698.34 on turnover of HK$62.55 billion ($8.07 billion).Chinese
shares closed down 1.45 percent. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index
fell 31.36 points to 2,132.96 on turnover of 99.7 billion yuan ($16.4
billion).The index lost 2.77 percent for the week.
